I am pretty bad with the line tool. Should probably try practicing with it more to be honest. I'm thinking of giving this a shot because I have never tried digitizing a freehand drawing. But I do love the look of it. One thing I am very uncomfy with though is my lack of skill w/ coloring. + I am color deficient (color blind) so it pretty much handicaps my ability. -___- hakuna matata though.

Well i used to do my line art directly on paper but the scanner ruined everything. So now, once the drawing has been scanned I do the line art on phtoshop by redrawing it with the pen tool. It takes forever though... But still!

Hakuna matata MissYoshi. : ) I apologize myself for the late response, things have been a little busy here and I haven't been able to get online and check my DA for a few. :( Although I do really appreciate your reply.

After you scan your pencil drawing, do you do something in photoshop to bring out the lines? Or, do you just redraw lines over your original pencil work?

I can't remember if I answered you previously but that's okay! I'll just do it again if I did!
So yeah I draw all my drawings with pencil first, then scan them and clean 'em up with photoshop and color them!
I find it easier to draw on paper!
